Photos from the launch of Obasanjo's controversial book in Lagos


 Former president of  Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo launched his controversial autobiography 'My Watch' today Dec. 9th at the Lagos Country Club, Ikeja. Atiku Abubakar, Mrs Oby Ezekwesili and many other dignitaries were at the launch.

Divided into three volumes and containing 58 chapters and 1,522 pages in all, the tell-all book reads like Obasanjo’s responses to all the people who have dared to criticise him in the past as well as those he believed wronged him politically, most of whom he described in unflattering terms.

Good evening my JAB peeps, its that day of the week where I share some inspiring words to keep our head high even through the turbulent waters. Today we would be talking about Living our dreams and the prime obstacle to that is FEAR. You can either live your dreams or live your fear. I think that many people are not living their dreams. Naira now 241 against US$1

  The naira hit another record low of N241 against the dollar at the parallel market on Monday as the Central Bank of Nigeria’s restrictions on foreign exchange sale fuelled unofficial trade in dollars, Reuters reported. Financial experts say the ban placed by CBN on importers from accessing Nigerian foreign exchange markets for the importation of 41 items has led to the volatility of the Naira-Dollar exchange rate at the black market.
