The Future Africa  Awards 2014, an event that celebrates young people between the ages of 18 and 31, who have made outstanding achievement in the year under consideration.
 
The red carpet was hosted by Bolanle Olukanni, who was styled by Ifan Ifeanyi Michael in a gorgeous Weizdhurm Franklyn dress – as well as Denola Adepetun and Zina Anumudu.
The event was hosted by Osas Ighodaro, Iyanya and Ice Prince.

The event had several elite guests like Obiageli Ezekwesili, Pat Utomi, Tonye Cole, Osas Ighodaro, Liz Yemoja, Taofick Okoya, Mocheddah, Dakore Akande, Seyi Shay, Omotola Jolade Ekeinde amongst others and performances by Asa, Timi Dakolo, Waje, OC Ukeje, Yemi Alade, IBK and more.

Good evening my JAB peeps, its that day of the week where I share some inspiring words to keep our head high even through the turbulent waters. Today we would be talking about Living our dreams and the prime obstacle to that is FEAR. You can either live your dreams or live your fear. I think that many people are not living their dreams. Naira now 241 against US$1

  The naira hit another record low of N241 against the dollar at the parallel market on Monday as the Central Bank of Nigeria’s restrictions on foreign exchange sale fuelled unofficial trade in dollars, Reuters reported. Financial experts say the ban placed by CBN on importers from accessing Nigerian foreign exchange markets for the importation of 41 items has led to the volatility of the Naira-Dollar exchange rate at the black market.
